KTownJerry
I'm running 6.5.1 - using the following controllers: "IO Crest SI-PEX40062 4 Port SATA III PCIe 2.0 x2 Controller Card Green" <node id="storage" claimed="true" class="storage" handle="PCI:0000:02:00.0"> <description>SATA controller</description> <product>88SE9235 PCIe 2.0 x2 4-port SATA 6 Gb/s Controller</product> <vendor>Marvell Technology Group Ltd.</vendor> <physid>0</physid> <businfo>pci@0000:02:00.0</businfo> <version>11</version> <width units="bits">32</width> <clock units="Hz">33000000</clock> <configuration> <setting id="driver" value="ahci" /> <setting id="latency" value="0" /> </configuration> <capabilities> <capability id="storage" /> <capability id="pm" >Power Management</capability> <capability id="msi" >Message Signalled Interrupts</capability> <capability id="pciexpress" >PCI Express</capability> <capability id="ahci_1.0" /> <capability id="bus_master" >bus mastering</capability> <capability id="cap_list" >PCI capabilities listing</capability> <capability id="rom" >extension ROM</capability> </capabilities> <resources> <resource type="irq" value="24" /> <resource type="ioport" value="dc00(size=8)" /> <resource type="ioport" value="d880(size=4)" /> <resource type="ioport" value="d800(size=8)" /> <resource type="ioport" value="d480(size=4)" /> <resource type="ioport" value="d400(size=32)" /> <resource type="memory" value="feaff800-feafffff" /> <resource type="memory" value="feae0000-feaeffff" /> </resources> </node> I'm getting 1,000's of errors in the logging file - like the following: May 8 22:18:54 Tower kernel: ata7: SError: { CommWake DevExch } May 8 22:18:54 Tower kernel: ata7: limiting SATA link speed to 1.5 Gbps May 8 22:18:54 Tower kernel: ata7: hard resetting link May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 310) May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: EH complete May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: exception Emask 0x10 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x4040000 action 0xe frozen May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: irq_stat 0x80000040, connection status changed May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: SError: { CommWake DevExch } May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: limiting SATA link speed to 1.5 Gbps May 8 22:18:55 Tower kernel: ata7: hard resetting link May 8 22:18:56 Tower kernel: ata7: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 310) May 8 22:18:56 Tower kernel: ata7: EH complete May 8 22:18:56 Tower kernel: ata7: exception Emask 0x10 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x4040000 action 0xe frozen May 8 22:18:56 Tower kernel: ata7: irq_stat 0x80000040, connection status changed Can you please direct me to a reasonably prices controller that will work with Unraid? Is there a list I can check for compatibility? Link to comment
JorgeB
Any LSI with a SAS2008/2308/3008 chipset in IT mode, e.g., 9201-8i, 9211-8i, 9207-8i, 9300-8i, etc and clones, like the Dell H200/H310 and IBM M1015, these latter ones need to be crossflashed. Link to comment
