Please post the diagnostics with the controller installed in Unraid to see the device IDs.

zip added.  I hope that's what you meant.

 

Thought I actually had the rocketraid sata card working, I had it plugged in and added a drive which worked.  then I rebuilt my entire rig and added the other 7 drives to the rocket raid card, and on reboot, still just the one drive showing up from that, plus the drive I had added direct to the motherboard.  Syslog looks like it might have actually sensed all the drives I've got attached, but still only one from that highpoint card is showing.  FYI, my highpoint card is a different model to the one in the original post, mine is 3520.

Driver is working, problem is that it's identifying the disks as:
 

HPT      VD1-0
HPT      VD1-1
HPT      VD1-2
etc,

 

There's no serial number, though they are not all identical Unraid is not accepting that as valid identifiers, it considers all the same device, hence the problem.
