My current server: Cooler Master Case Gigabyte GA 880GM D2H motherboard Amd Phenom II X6 1055T 8Gb Corsair Vengeance Ram 6-HGST Deskstar 4TB hard drives 2- WD Blue 500GB SSD for Cache What I have so far for new server: Fractal Design R6 Case Raidmax RX-700AT Titanium power supply Cryorig H7 Cooler What motherboard and processor is recommended? Has the idle power draw problems been fixed with Ryzen? I will be connecting a 10GBE card between my server and HTPC, so I will need enough PCI-E slots to fit the SAS Controller and the NIC card.
