Unable to write to cache

Your disk4 and cache are showing up in df as /dev/mapper/...

 

I had not seen this before and googled it but it is unclear to me how it applies to an unRAID environment.

 

Do you know anything about this?

That happens when using encryption.

 

Cache filesystem is corrupt, backup and reformat, you can use this to help with the backup if needed, though you'll need to adjust the commands because of the encryption.

This is the second time this has happened on the machine. Is there any way to determine that root cause of the issue?

If it's a repeat problem there could be some hardware issue, like bad RAM, etc.
