Small update.

I didn't have any problems since I turned off the spin-down function (since my last post).

Now, after updating my lsi from p14 to p16 I turned this function on.

I'll report back if any problems arise ;)

    How has this been after updating the firmware?  I'm in the same boat and have the exact same issues you originally had.
