October 17, 20187 yr Hi guys, I have been working on my server for 3 hours and getting a flash error. I upgraded to 6.6.2 and shut down. I had to reseat my graphics cards and when i rebooted it said my flash drive was in read only mode. I shut down, pulled the flash drive and put it in to my windows machine to repair, when I tried to boot it in my server I get CLI errors and it never boots up. I have tried reflashing the drive with a clean install and a copied install after formatting. I keep getting the same result. { end kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)} and a bunch of other errors. I have not tried a new flash drive because I am not sure I have one that will be ok to run. Any help is appreciated.

October 17, 20187 yr Community Expert Try redoing the flash drive, backup the config folder, use the usb creator to redoit and restore the config folder.
October 17, 20187 yr Author I tried that, I tried not restoring the config, tried 6.6.2,6.6.1, a different usb drive and I keep getting errors. The only thing that changed is that I put my 2 GPU's in different slots. Would that have anything to do with something like this though?
October 17, 20187 yr Author Ok so that is wierd. I moved the GPU's back to the slots they were in (albeit very inconveniently placed) and wiped the usb to clean 6.6.2 and replaced the config file from my previously working backup and it booted but docker would not start, 1 VM said it had a write only vdisk.
October 17, 20187 yr Author I have it up "ish" it isn't working 100% again. I am going to pass out now. I'll have to pick back up in the morning ( 4 hours from now) bigbeast-diagnostics-20181017-0406.zip
October 17, 20187 yr Community Expert Your cache pool filesystem is corrupt, best option is to backup, reformat and restore, though a repair might work for this problem, but don't try before a backup is done.
October 17, 20187 yr Author So the best way to back it up I suppose is to just find cache in krusader and copy it on to the array?

That's an option, you can also use this: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=511923 If some data can't be copied or the pool turns unmountable you cal also use this: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=543490
October 17, 20187 yr Author I have a couple new ssd's coming in on Friday to replace (Size upgrade) the cache pool. Before I left for work I set Krusader to copy the cache drive to the array, if that worked great, if not I guess I need to wait for my new drives to come in.
