September 23, 201015 yr You can use unRAID as a DVR if you can get a MythTV backend running on it. Otherwise you need to hack your dvr.

September 23, 201015 yr Not THAT hard... if you install a full Slackware distro, and add unRAID to it and roll your own kernel. Many others have done it. Now the Myth frontend can be finicky, depending on your tuner/capture device.
