SRB
A while ago (unRAID 6.3 days) I was trying to get my server configured to connect to an enterprise proxy for http traffic. Through discussions with LimeTech support, I was advised to add the following to my go config file http_proxy=http://proxyserver:port /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & which is also advised in this thread: Back then it didn't end up working and I was told to wait for the release of unRAID 6.4 since the front-end http server was being changed to nginx. So now that some time has passed I'd figure I'd give it another go, but alas I am still not able to get it working. What's more, I know this is a configuration issue within unRAID because if I create a Win10 VM within unRAID, I can get traffic through the proxy within Windows. Any suggestions on how I can get this working within unRAID? Thanks. Edited January 17, 2019 by SRB spelling Quote Link to comment
eschultz
Try adding https_proxy in the mix too: http_proxy=http://proxyserver:port https_proxy=http://proxyserver:port /usr/local/sbin/emhttp & Quote Link to comment

eschultz
@BasDL Are you still having issues with the webgui connecting to the internet? Which proxy server software are you using? Quote Link to comment
BasDL
issue is solved, was a problem with the proxy configuration of the company. Quote Link to comment

BasDL
The IT gave me a user for the proxy login that was not allowed to access the internet. 😑 1 Quote Link to comment
copyyy
In my case, I have an anonymous user proxy. I set up the proxy in the "GO" file but it doesn't work. I can use the "Comuntiy App Store" but I can't download and install the docker files. I see log files not using the proxy settings. Quote Link to comment
