July 7, 200718 yr Hi, i bought today 3 HDD 500 Go to build my unRAID Server. All is ok but disk status is ko because HDD are not formated, how can i do this ? i don't know UNIX system. Thanks for help

Thanks for help On the disk page, assign one of your drives as the parity drive, assign the other two as disk1 and disk2, then go to the main page and "start" the array. It should give you a checkbox to check to ensure you really want to format the unformatted drives. Check it, and then press to button to continue. The drives will first be cleared, and then formatted for you. (This, depending on the size of youor drives and the speed of your disk controllers could take several hours or more) Once the formatting is completed, the array will come up on line. You do not need to know any UNIX to get everything up and running.
