I just don't think I'm going to need this much case after all. Have run it for maybe 6 months, but I think I'm going to port back to my ARK 4U-500. It's in near perfect condition; I'll just keep it and underutilize if I can't get a decent offer.

 

Of note, I think I can offer a great rate on s&h through my company.

Did you ever have any iisues with any of the trays lining up properly?

Did you do any modding do the fan mount? I'm guessing no, from your discription, but just wanted to check.

I'm definitely interested, but I'm very new to UnRaid. So I'm no where needing that kind of storage, yet. But I'm already planning on expanding to a Norco after I outgrow my repurposed old tower case(10 drives). That will likely be in 5-7 months, so I'm a little hesitant to bid.  With all this in mind, please don't take my offer personally.

 

Depending on the shipping costs I would consider $200+S&H.

Guys, probably the best way to communicate about your interest in the case is to PM me. I can post pictures if you like, but I'm not really sure what you're looking for; I'm keeping all the parts...except I might part with the Corsair 650TX PSU, as I overbought specifically knowing I might move up to this case, but it's really more than I need...so all I'd really be taking pictures of is the front, and that you can get from any number of places. However, if there is something specific you're looking for in a pic, let me know and I'll try to accomodate you.

 

I haven't modded the case in any way; pretty straight-forward build to start, and I've only used 6 drive bays to this point, although they've all been tested. Also, I do have 2 sets of the reverse breakout cables for the backplane..and I won't need them for the next build, so I'll toss those in for the highest bid.

 

I'm getting lots of interest; if you PM me, I'll let you know the ballpark of the offers. I'm not just going to be greedy, and hold out for the most; I have a figure in mind, based on the offers I've been getting. And as soon as someone makes a suitable offer, and pays...that'll be that. OTOH, until someone pays...I'm not a fool; an offer for more will obviously get the case.

 

BTW, I'm in 21801...but don't be discouraged if you try to do s&h yourself; I'll use my company account and I get a much better rate than what UPS advertises.

I did a cost estimate on UPS's site and it was not what I expected, so I'm not sure I did it right. So I look forward to your reply to the PM.

Lots of interest so far guys, so I probably already have a buyer. However, I did want to follow up about the s&h. I mention it because I think that's what keeps a lot of people from buying cases second-hand; at least that's the feedback when I couldn't sell my ARK 4U-500 for like $50.

 

Like I said, I use my company's UPS account, and the rates are GREATLY reduced...and I pass that savings on to you. The results are pretty staggering; even better than I had expected. For example, 2 quotes that I did this morning: UPS website says $19.62, my s&h $10.90. Another, UPS website $33.98(!), my cost $18.85. Food for thought, but like I said...I suspect it'll be gone by the end of the day.
