March 28, 20197 yr I accidentally started a scrub on my new 1TB drive and it turned quite hot (54 degrees) is this normal it probably only has about 200GB on it. Is the scrub more for a system with 2 cache drives? Thanks

Scrub can be used on any btrfs filesystem to check data integrity, and it will still detect and identify any errors on a single device filesystem, but it can't fix anything without redundancy.
