Western digital blue 1TB @newegg 57.99

I haven't used this particular drive, but have used several Blue WD drives & have never had a problem.

As a general rule you should include the price and where the deal is at (newegg, frys ...) in the subject line.

Sorry my man.......... :-X It wasn't a matter of deals (which btw seems to be a good price)It was to see if anyone had any experience with them.......Which then becomes another problem, epik failure on my part..........Then post should have been in hardware forum. i guess it will serve its purpose here since i would like members to check out the drive if they think its a good deal.

Ahh, well that's a different deal altogether. :)  A 1 TB drive is sort of small for a typical unRAID server.  Most people here would probably prefer green drives because of the lower power requirements.  I personally have 7200 rpm Barracuda's at the moment.
