May 2, 20197 yr Hi, Guys. I am new to Unraid so my questions probably are dumb. I recently just added a new 6TB HD to the array and after preclean it shows Unmountable: No file system. I guess I need to format it as it does not have any file system. However I am not sure if I check "yes, I want to do this" and start the format, it will only format the new HD or all the HDs in the array will be formatted? I don't want to lose my data. I am pretty sure it should only format the new HD but just want to double confirm before I do it. Thanks.
May 2, 20197 yr It's safe to do format. As you can see on the left it's telling you which unmountable drives are going to be formatted Also look here https://wiki.unraid.net/Add_One_or_More_New_Data_Drives
