Permissions Help

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is not posted in the right section.  It's not a docker issues.  My Plex is adding Tv shows ok,  won't add movies, won't allow any manual changes to covers etc.  Says "changes cannot  be saved".  I can't delete folders. I am pretty sure it's a permissions issue.  It has ran really good for a long time without issue.  I put the id command in the terminal and it comes back as  uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root),1(bin),2(daemon),3(sys),4(adm),6(disk),10(wheel),17(audio),281(docker).  I read it should be attached to a user, not sure.   I ran the docker permissions tool, obviously it is not going to help with this.  How do I go about correcting the permissions. I tried removing the docker and putting it back.  I'm using the Plex Official Docker.  I put the latest update in a number of days ago.  I don't want to blame that, may not have been the cause. Could have been something I did.  My current PLEX_UID 99, PLEX_GID 100.

Thanks
