irakli
I'm using Unraid 6.7 HP Server ML310 Intel® Xeon® CPU E3-1230 V2 @ 3.30GHz 32 GiB DDR3 ( Disk 1, Parity: ST6000VN0033-2EE110 - 6 TB) My problem is, overtime (30 Min) disk permission is changed to read only. As a result I can't access to SMB and I can't work on Docker . to fix this issue I have to stop services in start again . How I can fix this issue Any advice is welcome. I've attached the diagnostics. Diagnostics-20190525-1923.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Don't known if it's related but the unassigned WDC_WD60EZRX-00MVLB1_WD-WX11D741AJNX has the same UUID as another disk, disconnect or clear/re-format that disk. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Because syslog is spammed with a repeating error I had missed there's a checksum error, likely on the metadata or the fs shouldn't go read only, if the disk was formatted recently with DUP metadata maybe it would be fixable, but doesn’t look like it so best bet it to backup, re-format and restore the data.Should still disconnect or wipe the unassigned disk mentioned above. irakli
thank you for suggestions. I will try to reformat all drives. May be better to move the production system to xfs? What do you think?? Quote Link to comment

While I use btrfs for all my servers and have be doing so for a few years now without issues, and really wouldn't go back to a filesystem without checksums or snapshots, xfs is likely best for most users, especially if those extra btrfs features are not important or needed.
