May 27, 20197 yr after upgrading my server I now have 2x missing/wrong drives which one is my parity, what can i do to fix this ?
May 27, 20197 yr Need more info. What did you change? Post your current diagnostics zip file, and it would be nice if you had a diagnostics file from before when everything worked.
May 27, 20197 yr Author unfortunately i do not have a diagnostics file from before, i moved the hdd's to a new computer and had to replace the usb as it snapped
May 28, 20197 yr This is because you were using a raid controller, do a new config, re-assign all disks to the original slots and check "parity is already valid" before starting the array.
May 28, 20197 yr Not as long as you assign all the disks to the original slots, and assuming the raid controller didn't use a non standard partition, but if any data disk comes up as unmountable don't format.
