June 28, 20197 yr I have been having some wierd stuff happen to my server today and seemingly out of nowhere my 6TB drive gets disabled. Could someone take a look at the diagnostics for me to confirm that I have to wait until Monday to use my server again when I get my new drive that I just ordered. bigbeast-diagnostics-20190628-0352.zip

June 28, 20197 yr Author Oh man, I just bought this board new a couple months ago, could it be a sata cable? It is one of the only drives I have that is on the onboard controller.
June 28, 20197 yr 5 minutes ago, mattgob86 said: could it be a sata cable? No, it could be related to virtualization since it's logged as an AMD-Vi event, you might try disabling IOMMU in the bios if not needed.
June 28, 20197 yr Author There is an update to the bios, only stated a firmware change. I swapped the data cables from one of my unassigned devices that is on my 9211-8i to bipass the sata controller for the data drives. It is updating the bios now, I'll report back.
June 28, 20197 yr Author Ok the system rebooted and the drive is disabled, is there something I need to do to make it look again?
June 28, 20197 yr Check SMART first (or post SMART report) and if all looks good and the emulated disk is mounting correctly: https://wiki.unraid.net/Troubleshooting#Re-enable_the_drive
