eeking
Just got my MD-1500/LL this week and have spent most of the weekend movings files and setting it up. Since I'm setting this up as a 24x7 machine on UPS, it'd be convenient to use it as a print server. I'll admit I know very little about administering a linux system, but a quick read of various HOWTOs and such leads me to conclude that the unRAID that came with the system is absent of any printing subsystems, so even if I configured Samba to share a printer conneccted to the system, it would have nothing to pass the data to. There's also the question of where to put a spool, certainly not on the flash. Would it be a fairly trivial thing for me to add this support (with loadable modules, perhaps?) Quote Link to comment
