AMD RX580 GPU Passthrough disconnects network

Featured Replies

Hi, I am trying to assign a AMD RX580 to a Windows 10 VM.   Whenever I bought up with it assigned I'm unable to ping or RDP into the VM.   If I assign the integrated GPU or just VNC I have no issue.   Also, when the RX580 is assigned I can plug a VM into and see the Windows 10 login screen.   If anyone could give me any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.   I am running UnRaid 6.7.2 with a I7-6700K and 32GB or RAM on a Asus Z270M motherboard.  Thank you.

I had a bit of hell getting my rx 560 to work with any VM for a while, nothing but black screens. I had to stub the card from unRAID in the syslinux config. Now it works perfect.

Thank you for the reply.  I'm new to Unraid.   Do you where I could get an example of a modified syslinux config a tutorial on how to make  changes for the video card?   Thanks again.
