Appdata share missing (SOLVED)

Featured Replies

I recently had a power outage, server is on a UPS but it can not issue a safe shutdown. I was not home at the time so eventually the UPS just ran out of power.  Once power was restored and I restated the server, I noticed my docker apps were not working. Looked into it and seen I had a "Docker Service failed to start." error.  then I noticed I no longer had an appdata share.  It is just gone.  It was set to cache only.  Any ideas what happened?

According to your diagnostics you have appdata set to use the cache but no cache drive is currently being seen by the system :(

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that. Thanks.  I have a nvme card in there guess I need to see whats going on with it.

I had to move the nvme pci adaper card to a different PCI slot to get the drive showing up again, but now it is unassigned.  Is the a way to add it back to the array to minimize data loss, appdata in particular.

If the array is started without a cache device Unraid "forgets" cache config, so now you just need to assign it back, note that if libvirt.img was also on cache there was a new one created on the array, since it's set to /mnt/user.

Cool assigned it back, everything looks good so far.  Thanks for the help.
