Jordan5_0
Hey all, I feel like this is a silly question. But after watching spaceinvadersone regarding PFSense it intrigued me with its functionality and could be useful with my family's network. I was just wondering, I have encrypted my unraid array and must enter the password on each reboot. I was just wondering how would I be able to remote into the server if PFsense is not running. If I have to i'll set-up a small pc as a backup, but was just wondering if there was a way to get around this. I do not want to store the key on the usb. Not sure if there's other options, please let me know. Apologies for the silly question, just my first time using this software, unraid has been amazing to work with and allowed me to do things I have never thought of, when just using windows. Thanks for the awesome software! Quote Link to comment
1812
you could do what is described in the video below, but use a raspberry pi locally on the network Quote Link to comment
Jordan5_0
okay, i currently have it setup but have to connect to an FTP server hosted by a provider. And with PFsense down that would not be possible. That would be a good idea, and can have the raspberry pi with the key and connect to it instead. Thanks! 1 Quote Link to comment
