October 3, 20196 yr I have the problem that with none of the hard disks the temperature is indicated. All hard drives are active. The temperature can be read out with SMART Tools. Only the temperature of a unassigned device is displayed.

October 5, 20196 yr Easiest way would be to use a recommended LSI controller, but it might be possible to get temps with that one using custom SMART settings, maybe someone else with same controller can help since I never had any of those.
October 6, 20196 yr Author Are the values not read out via SMART? There are values displayed everywhere, but not in the dashboard. Is it possible to connect the LSI controller to the backplane of the HP?
October 6, 20196 yr SMART attributes are only read every 30 minutes by default in the UI (Main / Dashboard) for performance reasons. This can be changed in Settings - Display Settings under Poll Attributes

March 13, 20224 yr Did you ever get this figured out. I have the same problem. It’s interesting because all my disks that are unassigned show a temp but once I add them to the array it disappears.
