i have a problem white the smb and nfs connections to my xcp-ng server 

after a while vm crash become that cant write to the disk

 

moving to a other nas os is not a option for me

Try upgrading to a current version of XenServer.  I have contacts that utilize XenServer 7 and later over NFS that do not report these issues.  In general, NFS issues can occur when older clients try to connect to newer ones.

I am currently running xcp-ng 7.6 released October of last year 

Anyone else using this setup that can confirm issues?

I don't know but in the coming week I am going to upgrade to 8.0 so we will se

i have upgraded to version 8.0 but the problem still persists 

for testing remounted the nfs share on NFSv3  white a Achieve team Warrior running on it 

mmm strange if i try to enebel debugging on the nfs service via the comand (rpcdebug -m nfsd -s lockd) i get a error/bog that is suppose to be fixed back in 2013

I will have to consult with someone else running xenserver but don't believe they are running what you are exactly.

The tough part with NFS is that there are often times client-specific issues that can come up which seems to be the case here. Unfortunately without anyone else running this environment, it would be difficult for us to support this as a one off configuration. We will do what we can, but it may take some time. Stay current on the RC releases and let us know if this changes with updates we make there.

but why cant i enable the debug nfs service

 

i get that fully supporting is int in the scope of the unraid project 

so that is not what i am asking of you but it wood be helpful that the debug works properly on my server

the specifics on xcp-ng|xenserver is a problem that i need to deal white
