In addition it does not have integrated video and you will have to use an additional video card at least the initial setup. If you want a suggestion this one looks very good for $80 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157167 ASRock is an Asus spin-off to compete the other "low-cost" manufacturers. kenoka Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 790FX was meant as a higher end gaming chipset. Given the lack of onboard video, it's not well suited to unRAID. You can look for a 780GX, 780G, or 785G based board. I have come to loathe Asus boards for unRAID use, because of their charming habit of changing the boot order every time you add a new disk. If you like to run headless, this becomes a major pain in the ass, as you have to go into the BIOS and set the USB drive as the boot device over and over again. Link to comment
