Cannot stop VM Manager

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I just installed a new network card to get a pfsense VM up and running. While doing that, I noticed that I am not able to stop my VM manager. At the moment I have only one 1 VM which I stopped manually, when I try setting "Enable VMs" to No and press the "Apply" button nothing happens.

Any ideas? Maybe something with the RC version of Unraid? I am happy to provide any additional logfiles etc.

I am running

Unraid version: 6.8.0-rc7

libvirt 5.8.0

Qemu 4.1.1

You should always

Go to Tools-diagnostics and attach the complete Diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post

Even after upgrade to Unraid 6.8 the problem persists. The only possibility for me to change network settings is to stop the array. I add a new set of diagnostics here.

Try manually editing the file config/domain.cfg on flash to disable VM service.

That's what I have to do every time I want to stop VM manager. Edit domain.cfg, reboot, make changes, edit domain.cfg, reboot.

Kind of annoying, but it works. Not like I make those network type changes daily, so I live with it.
