Log flooded with weird errors

Featured Replies

I am flooded with such log entries:

Dec 2 11:17:06 quasar-ultima ntfs-3g[11120]: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: Input/output error
Dec 2 11:17:06 quasar-ultima ntfs-3g[11120]: Failed to read index block: Input/output error
Dec 2 11:17:06 quasar-ultima kernel: Buffer I/O error on dev sdp1, logical block 44, async page read

I had this before in my log, but sporadically, seems like I got a flood of those in the last hour.

Thing is:

- I am not aware of device sdp1 (how can I find who added this).

- I have no NTFS devices connected on server, I am not even there.

I had NTFS devices connected yesterday though (USB disks).

Also I wonder if this has anything to do with plugins like rClone (it works, I haven't used it in the recent days, I know it fails to connect to my MEGA account).

Any ideas?

That's likely from a corrupt ntfs filesystem used with UD plugin, errors can still appear after the device is removed, a reboot will clear them.

Thanks, will check this out.

Weird behavior if this is the source.
