Wrong key after update

Featured Replies

After upgrading to version 6.8.0 and rebooting the server is displaying "Wrong key", but the key is correct.

Any idea or way to downgrade?

Upgraded from 6.7.2, diagnostics attached.

Check filesytem on the flash drive, corrupt flash can give that error.

Did chkdsk on Windows with flash drive without error or corrections.

Same error.

Or do I have to do another filesystem check?

Ahh, you mean wrong encryption key, I though you were talking about the licence.

Are you sure you're entering the right key, doubt very much it's upgrade related, but if you upgraded using the GUI you can revert back to v6.7.2 to check:

Tools -> Update OS -> Unraid OS (previous) -> Restore

I'm sorry that I expressed myself so unclear, the license key still exists ;)

I just did the downgrade and now it works again.

Seems to have been due to the upgrade.

Diagnostics attached.

I have a special character like äÄ/öÖ/üÜ in my passphrase, yes.

Regarding that post it should be fixed with RC6, so also in 6.8.0, but not working and I do not want to store the passphrase in an keyfile.

Please add that info to this report, so it can be fixed.
