November 30, 201015 yr I'm considering unRAID and have a few question - 1. What is the status of unRAID 5? 2. Is it possible to use a partition of a drive as cache, or do I need to dedicate a drive to it? 3. Is it possible to change the frequency with which data is copied off the cache drive to the array? e.g. adaptive when there is no disk load. 4. Can it run in a VM? (this is purely for testing before I build a server)
