December 5, 201015 yr Ran the pre-clear script, got my drives in it, formatted them and started the array. Now its running the parity sync. Do I have to wait until its finished or can I start setting my my shares, moving files, etc etc. Thanks.

Do I have to wait until its finished or can I start setting my my shares, moving files, etc etc. Thanks. If this is a fresh new array, I would stop the parity sync. Setup the shares and move files, then build the parity. If you have added drives and have existing data drives then I would wait for the parity to sync before doing anything else. As performance will be horrible while the parity is syncing.
