Update 6.8.1 to 6.8.2 Kernel Panic but OK now?

Featured Replies

I'm relatively new to UnRaid but I've been really enjoying it. I think I started with version 6.7.2 and had upgraded to 6.8.1 (using the WebUI) with no problems. However, in this most recent upgrade from 6.8.1 to 6.8.2, I hit reboot and the system rebooted, but the array never started and it doesn't look like UnRaid ever really started - the WebUI/array never became accessible. I connected a local display and there was a Kernel Panic error. I used the power button to shut the computer down and turn it back on. This time everything seemed to come up OK - no kernel panic and everything is accessible.

- The Parity check completed with zero errors

- The WebUI currently shows I'm running 6.8.2 and I'm up-to-date

- No operational issues and I'm running BTRFS scrubs (all array drives are BTRFS) just to make sure, but I don't have any reason to suspect data integrity issues.

Is there anything else I need to check or confirm? I'm assuming this was a one-off event that a hard shutdown fixed, but being unfamiliar with UnRaid want to see if there's anything else I should look into.

Thanks.

Should be all fine, you might want to run chkdsk on the flash drive if it happens again.
