I just bought a nice, 750 W PSU for my Lime (11 drives) Unraid.

 

From time to time, the PSU fails to turn  on after a cold or re-boot. If I wait a day, sometimes two, and try again, it magicallly turns back on.

 

Is this just the PSU needing to be RMA'd or does anyone else have this issue with their UNRAID server? I have had PSUs go bad before but never going in and out like this. Usually, its just one day -- BOOM.

I would RMA it.  However, you didn't say what brand/model PSU it is and there is an immense difference, so it could be that it isn't putting enough juice on the 12V to handle all 11 drives at spinup.  Startup is the most difficult time and higher temperatures equals much lower power output, so that could explain why it would not come on at first but hours/days later it does.
