something which is bugging me if im playing any files from server such as music on my sonos and at the same time move a file from array to say my gaming pc im suffering stutters and pauses in music playback, my network is gigbit all drives are 7200 with no spin down, CPU is E31230 and 8gb ram any suggestions

    Usually it cause by any disks from spindown to spindup. You could try set disks not spundown to verify first.

    Disks are spinning 24/7 got fed up accessing shares for it to pause whilst waitin for drive to spin up lol, im narrowing it down its network maxxing out so nic on gaming pc is saturating bandwidth from server nic so guess gotta manage it somehow.
