jang430
Hi. Is there USB Hotplug in v 6.8.3 now? I use usb extender via rj45. For some reason, it suddenly disconnects. Once disconnected, nothing works except turn vm off, and on again. I'd like to have the hotplug functionality so worst case scenario, I can just unplug usb, and plug it back in to get it detected. You need to pass through a controller to the VM for your use case. You can also try the Libvirt USB hotplug plugin to manually replug the devices to the VM without the need to restart the VM. jang430
ok, will search for that plugin. But when mouse is no longer functioning, how can do the manual replug? Is it a script I execute inside the VM? Quote Link to comment

jang430
Thank you testdasi, tested it already. I have 3 devices, keyboard, mouse and bluetooth dongle. After connecting keyboard, mouse, it says there's not enough usb port for my bluetooth dongle. I haven't tried testing any further. Quote Link to comment
