Supacon
I'm just trying to set up a new Windows 10 VM in Unraid 6.8.3 and the machine wouldn't boot into the Windows installer... it would default to going into the UEFI prompt unless you hit a key, but even if you do, it just gets stuck at the customized "TianoCore" boot logo. The trick for me to getting it to work seemed to be changing the CDRom busses from IDE to SATA. Has anyone else observed this? I'm wondering why the i440fx defaults to this old bus... it doesn't seem to work for me. Edited April 1, 2020 by Supacon Quote Link to comment
ken-ji
Try making a new VM using the Q35 machine type as that more emulates modern hardware AFAIK Quote Link to comment
