My current VM is unable to automatically update the firmware for a built-in USB Bluetooth device I'm attaching to the VM, the solution to this would be to inject the updated firmware when Unraid boots and start the VM with the firmware already updated. However, Unraid does not seem to be able to update it on its own as the firmware is missing:

I can't manually add the firmware to /lib/firmware as the file system is read only. Is there a solution to this?

Is it possible to uncompress the file system, add the file and recompress?
