April 28, 20206 yr I had a power-outage the other day and although parity seems fine after is completed the test - one disk gives errors but when i redo a s.m.a.r.t test it says its fine. What's the best appoach - Replace the disk since its already 55k hours power-on-hours (which is 6+ years 😁)? And I got 3 more of those... And about the power-outage - what want to buy an apc - for a system like this (max 24 disk, currently 14 slots in use) with a monitor attached. What rating is oke? Is 1500 enough of should I got for 2200 instead? tower-smart-20200428-1219.zip Edited April 28, 20206 yr by sjoerd

April 28, 20206 yr Author Okidoki - Going to replay the disk then. I guess replacing a disk tutorial or shrinking is somewhere on the forums? It seems my array is filling less fast then i anticipated, in fact growth I kinda on hold now that we can't shoot less photos due to the corona-virus-lockdown-thingy so i might replace the 3TB with a 4TB and shink the array a bit or is that not best practice ?
