Networking Advice For 10gbe Please?

Hi, 

 

As well as my normal gigabit network I also have a 10gb/e connection from my Desktop machine to my unraid server using 2 Mellanox MCX311A-XCAT CX311A ConnectX-3 EN 10G Ethernet 10GbE SFP+ PCI-E NIC and an LC cable between the 2

 

I have now added another server into my rack and would also like to add 10gb/e so both servers and my Desktop can all benefit from 10gb/e

 

I have googled for hours and am looking for advice from anyone else that may have a similar setup, would I be best to add another 2 cards (unraid server to unraid server) or is there an affordable (budget) 🙂 switch I could use to do this?

You can use a Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN switch. They go for about $140.00 on Amazon. It has 4 SFP+ ports and 1 RJ45.

I bought one of those a couple of weeks ago, certainly does the job! 🙂
