not_your_duck
Hello! My apologies I am very new to this, but I haven't managed to get any VMs working in unraid yet. My current config is a Linux Mint install iso and it wont let me get past the first install screen. It gives me this error (I have attached screenshots as well) error: attempt to read or write outside of disk `hdo` error: you need to load the kernel first. This is my VM configuration xml bit. If it helps <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='1'> <name>Pack Yak</name> <uuid>0ab2a76f-ee32-bea7-b91e-61bb2129978b</uuid> <metadata> <vmtemplate xmlns="unraid" itimpi
How much space have you allocated for the vdisk? That error message sounds as if it may be too small? Quote Link to comment
not_your_duck
The Vdisk size is 107GB right now Quote Link to comment
