Drive array issue

Recommended Posts

I'm running an ibm x3650 m4 with 6 drives + 1 nvme drive, currently the only drives I can add properly are

Nvme drive - 250G

Sata ssd - 250G

SAS - 600G

2x SAS 146G

The drives I cant add properly, for some reason when I try to add the last 2 drives it auto changes the ID to the 2nd 146G sas drive making the last 2 unusable

The problem is the way the RAID controller is identifying the devices:

Unraid considers that those 3 devices have the same serial number so you can only use one of them, see if that identifier can be changed or better yet don't use a RAID controller.
