Bittorrent command line client

Featured Replies

Before I go hunting myself, Is anybody using any form of Bittorrent on its unraid machine?

I personnaly don't need it, as I prefer to leave my Mac Mini on for "saving the environment reason" rather than my unraid box, but I guess it cannot be that complicated right ?

Torrent clients on a NAS is not a new thing but i wouldnt recommend it. The very nature of them makes them disk thrashers.

If you do decide to use one there is only one command line worth looking at and thats rTorrent but to make it work you will also need something like screen.

As I said, it's not for me. as what I usually get from torrent doesn't really deserve being "protected" by unRAID.

But some people want it, and I believe some people would buy unRAID if they would have a solution, more money to tom is always good for us users.
