Featured Replies

A new problem has come up as I work with 6.9.0 beta22. At the login screen it gives me the error: Modprobe: ERROR could not insert 'nct6775': no such device. Is this related to my iGPU, I have the i5 10400. I have modprobe i915 in my go file. Diag file below just incase.

No, that's a common motherboard sensor.  Something is likely trying to load a sensor you don't have or there is a problem with the sensor.

Start a terminal session from the GUI and type 'sensors' at the command line.

That shows what sensors your motherboard has.

Thank you for the response. I input sensors and it does not show the middle part in your picture (nct6791). Is this an issue with the build or a compatibility issue with my motherboard?

Sorry for no pic, I am having browser issues right now.

I had this issue after a motherboard swap.

I use the System Temp plugin.

It was still looking for the temp sensor on the old board.

I opened the plugin from settings and clicked on detect and then save and it updated it's sensor list.
