Pretty much as title. When setting a staic IP using the GUI allow the optional setting of nameservers.

If you're using static IP, you can put this entry in your 'go' script:

 

echo 192.168.1.1 >/etc/resolv.conf

 

Of course substitute your name server IP address for '192.168.1.1'.

Thanks for moving the post that was silly of me.

 

Yup i understand i can edit the go script or do it manually but IMHO a nameserver should be part of the real config GUI for general users.
