[4.6] Stopping the array kind of crashes shfs.

Featured Replies

Well, this isn't the first time I saw it, but this time I have time to document this error.

I just stopped the array and then bring it up again, and this time most of my shares aren't mount in /mnt/user folder.

root@Server:/mnt# ls

disk/  disk1/  disk2/  disk3/  disk4/  disk6/  disk7/  disk8/  disk9/  user/

root@Server:/mnt# ls disk*

I see no error on the syslog, but my suspect is another "mount race" like that one in the unformatted bug of version 4.5.3.

This time seem that the race is between shfs and md mount.

syslog.txt

The user share file system is not getting mounted, probably because the directory '/mnt/user' already exists due probably to an unclean 'Stop' previously.  I should start a thread: "Strangest looking system logs", and make yours a sticky :)  What is your configuration?  Some add-on is not behaving properly.
