noctifer`
I picked up a 10Gb NIC (specifically approved/HP Spare) for my HP DL380 Gen8, and the bios detects it, and Unraid shows it as "Emulex Corporation OneConnect 10Gb NIC" - but it shows no connection in Unraid. Lights are on for the card and my switch, but no connection. Are their drivers needed or something? I have unraid purchased on a Dell T20 with Asus 10gb card from amazon that is working fine... just booted and worked. I figured an older card would work - is that not the case? Anyone know how to get it working? I need 10gb before i purchase a 2nd key for this server Quote Link to comment

noctifer`
Yes. Card has two ports. I’ve tried connecting cable to both. Cable works on my Dell T20 with Asus 10gbe, but on the HP DL380 g8 I see activity lights but no connection. Quote Link to comment

I just shutdown Unraid and booted from Ubuntu and it’s working properly. For some reason Unraid is showing link up, but no connection listed on main page, no no internet access on GUI boot Quote Link to comment
noctifer`
I’m dumb.... that was the issue. clicked settings on dashboard and realized for some reason eth4/5 were marked as inactive and not part of bonded connection. Changed checkbox and it works now. For whatever reason, by Dell T20 didn’t need that step 1 Quote Link to comment
