Cache drive writing at ~10 MB/s

Recommended Posts

Hey all. I am a newbie to Unraid and I just set up my first server. All diagnostics are attached.

It is currently running with a 14TB WD EasyStore as a parity (I am installing more data drives very soon) as well as a 1TB and a 2TB HDD. I'm using a Samsung 860 Evo 500GB as a cache drive. I haven't set up a cache pool.

When I try to write to "Test Share" by pasting a folder full of ~100 GB of video content, however, my write speeds are about 11 MB/s. I'm not sure why this is. Before I installed a cache drive, the speeds were also around the same. I checked my share settings and global share settings and both should allow for the cache drive to be utilized, and seemingly, the cache drive does have about 1 GB on data that I copied. However, the speeds are still extremely slow.

I am copying files over ethernet, not Wi-Fi.

Does anyone have any pointers? I'm not sure what could be the problem.
