  • Rollback to stable doesn't work after a while

    Something I noticed the other day.  I think it let's you roll back one version and if one version ago happened to be stable, then you were in luck.  But for me, to get stable on, I had to download it manually.

     

    I'd say this is a bug, but maybe it's always been like that.

    As far as roll back is concerned, I think that's the intended behaviour and it makes sense to me. When you update, the old version is stored as "previous", regardless of the branch. If you want to roll back, you roll back to the version you were using before you updated. Anything else wouldn't really make sense, would it? However, you ought to be able to select the stable branch and update to that, but as of -beta30 that wasn't working - the Branch option switches back to next, which is a bug and has been acknowledged in another thread. It's possible it's fixed in -beta35 - I haven't read that thread yet.

    Open = Under consideration.

     

    Solved = The issue has been resolved.

     

    Solved version = The issue has been resolved in the indicated release version.

     

    Closed = Feedback or opinion better posted on our forum for discussion. Also for reports we cannot reproduce or need more information. In this case just add a comment and we will review it again.

     

    Retest = Please retest in latest release.


    Priority Definitions

     

    Minor = Something not working correctly.

     

    Urgent = Server crash, data loss, or other showstopper.

     

    Annoyance = Doesn't affect functionality but should be fixed.

     

    Other = Announcement or other non-issue.
