    currently have 2 system with unRAID

    1: i7 4470k / 32gb ram and 10x 8TB on 6.11 , no issues with this one.

     motherboard : Asus Z87-PRO

     

    2: i7 4470k / 16Gb ram and 5x 8TB , 5x3TB and 2x 6TB  (HBA SAS2008 F:20.0.70.0) ,
    motherboard Asus : Z87-A

    was on 6.11 ,keeps freezing and have to hard reboot the system. reverted back to 6.11.rc5 and will post back in a few days if it resolved it and post diags

    Thanks for the info.
    Will try 6.11 rc5 for a few days (to see if it stay stable) and then go back on 6.11 and get the logs .

    ok got the system back on 6.11 , hasn't frozen (YET), but now i got a new weird bug .

    the array need s to rebuild the parity, it work until it get a to a point.
    did the first 3.5 TB at 120mb/s .. now its crawling at 130kb/s

    Estimated finish:260 days, 17 hours, 16 minutes

    Syslog from the diags starts over after every boot, that's why I asked for the log from  the syslog server, it might catch something.

     

    Most likely unrelated to the problem but after boot disk4 is already showing what look like connection issues, replace the SATA cable.

    Hi

    you might of hit the jackpot with my "drive4" , replaced the cable and swap the drive with a known good drive and it started showing errors, removed the 2 port controller card and the system hasn't Frozen yet .
