  • [6.9.1] Parity Check After Clean Shutdown Or Reboot.

    • Solved Annoyance

I have rebooted twice since upgrading to 6.9.0. The first time was to upgrade to 6.9.1 and again to correct my vm's video card going wonky. Both times a parity check was started upon boot. What is going on?

Diags saved on the flash drive would confirm but there have been a couple of reports where it looks like the shutdown time-out is not being honored, i.e., Unraid forces the shutdown after a couple of seconds even if the set time is much higher, changing the setting (Settings -> Disk Settings) to re-apply it fixes the issue.

@JorgeB I'll give that a try. Not sure when I'll be rebooting next. Not usually for months.

@JorgeB Finally got a chance to test this out. I can say that this fixed it. We have an electrician out working and it shut down due to the UPS switching to battery. It booted back up without starting a parity check.
