[6.9.X] Local GUI Mode does not work.

Hello (french and newbie),

 

I've got the exactly same issue after intalling 6.9 version from 6.8.3. Everything worked fine in previous version.

 

How could someone help me? I post diagnostic and Update assistant report if that could help to recover le GUI Mode (webGUI mode works fine from a distant computer)

I don't understand why you made a second thread about the same thing to be honest.

 

@cortana - please type this in a Terminal session and then reboot.  If still no local video post diags again:

 

touch /boot/config/modprobe.d/amdgpu.conf

Thanks it seems like it worked.

 

I plan on doing GPU Passthru via VFIO will this affect anything at all?
