  1. Hi! Is it possible to see "Launcher Id" on Machinaris so that I can add it to the pool ap on my phone? (space pool ap)
  2. Didn't you run out of space on your plotting drive, perhaps? Although final size is ~100Gb, temporary size is much bigger. If it runs out of space, everything stops and you have to manually remove the files and start from scratch. @gui.davis Installed this image so that I have access to a simple GUI and everything running smooth on my very small "farmland". Thanks!
  3. I'm attaching my XML also: https://pastebin.com/XBkLt0VL I noticed that the capacity and allocation for all of the vm's is now incorrect!? I made all of the with 40~50G. (All of them are qcow2)
  4. Have you solved this? I'm having a similar problem. Moved vdisks from cache to the array, pointed the new location and now it's not working anymore. Just boots asking for new install (both on win10 vm and Manjaro VM)
  5. Thanks! 😃 I had used "docker exec -it chia venv/bin/chia keys show" before. Was missing the "--show-mnemonic-seed"
  6. Is there a way to export the mnemonics words from docker? So that I can import those on the windows app, etc? From the CLI commands list I didn't see a command for it and from the wallet keys I don't see a way to import to the windows app to always use the same wallet...
  7. I have already read much more than the information in that video. But thanks. The issue I had was more related with the importance of it in my case specifically. From what I am understanding (again, in my case), it is not much of an issue since my critical files are "static" and stored physically and not "floating" in the memory chips during weeks. So, critically for me is to have redundancy on local hard drives and offsite backup, as I already have. Once again, thank you all for the help.
  8. My main archives are my pictures. I know that unraid doesn’t require ecc. Since I do shoot Raw+JPEG, keep edition files and final JPEG edited pictures and also do Offsite Backups... maybe ECC really isn’t something so critical to me. Gigabyte then. Thanks for all the help you give people on the forums! 🙂
  9. Do Gigabyte mobos have ECC support? I'm undecided in a build myself between Asrock B450m and Gigabyte equivalent one. Gigabyte has 6x Sata connectors which can be usefull in a mAtx build that will have to run 2x GPU's leaving only one PCIe slot available for other things... (and 2x M2 although you can not have 8 disks connected at same time!?) Maybe better "give up" on ECC and go with Gigabyte?
  10. Hi, I'm undecided between a few mATX mobos to go possibly with a Ryzen 7 1700 and 2x16gb (preferably ECC) and Fractal Node 804 (this one is really getting hard to find in Europe at least!) Will have Win10 VM so easiness/reliability/stability of passthrough is a major concern I'm having. Is there any of these which clearly should be a better choice over the others or are "all ok, go with the best price one" Asrock: B450M Pro4 X370M Pro4 AB350M Pro4 R2.0 Gigabyte: B450M GAMING GA-AX370M-Gaming 3 GA-AB350M-DS3H MSI: B350M Mortar So, basically, I'm undecided between chipset and brand... some of these are really cheap mobos... if they do the job. Great. If not, I don't mind to spend a bit more in the best one. If I'm not mistaken, Gigabyte ones allow me to go back in BIOS version if something is not ok for passthrough as it has happened in the past. The others I believe cannot do this. But, does Gigabyte have anything against it when compared with Asrock for example?
  11. Ok, From my further "research", if I understood correctly, I can make gpu passthrough with the MS Gen8 after upgrading to a Xeon cpu, and with a E1265v2 I have similar processing power to what I have on my current laptop for photo editing. I can find Gen8 for less than 200€ (yesterday one was sold for 170€ on ebay). Xeons are less than 80€ Graphics card ~60€ Until here, within budget additional upgrade: -2x8gb ddr3 unbufered ECC ram ~90€ (necessary for the heavy stuff) ~128gb SSD cache Probably there isn't anything better than this within such a tiny tiny (micro) budget!?
  12. Hello everyone, At the moment I have a small RPI4 4Gb with a 8Tb WD Red and a couple old 1Tb/2Tb disks from olt pc's. Running OpenMediaVault + Plex + OpenVPN + Docker (NextcloudPi, Sonarr, Radarr, Jacket, Bittorrent, RPi Monitor and a Pihole on macvlan driver). Although, some of these dockers work great, some others I think definately would benefit from working on a full OS, like Nextcloud. Aditionally, I have a laptop (Clevo 650SE) with dual boot Win10 + Linux Mint and Virtualbox also with Win10... to avoid having to restart and boot with Windows. I still use Windows mainly because of Capture One (photo editor software's)... This laptop has been working almost 24/7 lately... My objective would be to have a small server able to run Win10 for photo editing... some light gaming (I casual play GuildWars 2 on my laptop) and 2D/3D CAD software... so GPU passthrough is mandatory for this. Plus, that would fit on the TV furniture like RPI + external disks do. That's the reason for mITX case like the Node 304... or an HP MicroServer. I was thinking in a second hand HP MicroServer Gen7/8 but it seems I would have issues with the virtualization requirements I have. Also saw ASRock J5005 mobo but... this seems a No-Go for this project (issues with virtualization/GPU passthrough...) Been trying to search for some kind of base setup but having a hard time to find some kind of realiable base mITX not too expensive... Below some answers from the "Read before posting topic": -What is your budget? ~350€ (mainly thinking in used market parts) This excludes disks. If there is no solution for such tight budget I can stretch it... -How many drives do you want your server to be able to support and how much capacity do you need? 4 (having a free slot to assemble an expansion card would be a plus) -Is expandability important to you? If so, what's your long term goal? That would be asking too much from a budget system Not very important. -What do you plan to run for hard drives? (already have) -Do you have any spare parts laying around that you would like to apply towards your build? This includes drives. WD Red 8Tb "new" as parity and old 2.5/3.5'' old ones I have. -If you already have parts in mind, please oh pretty please post links to them so that we don't have to look them up. From what I have searched around, ASRock usually are the easiest for all "iommu stuff". Since I'm looking mainly at budget, old xeon based systems probably are easier to find? (on the other hand I'm a bit AMD fanboy... lol) Thank you very much for all help you can give.
